Graduate business fundamentals before the full MBA
The MBA Pathway Certificate is designed for working professionals who want graduate-level business fundamentals, leadership development, and AI-informed decision-making without immediately committing to the full MBA. Learners would complete any three graduate MBA courses drawn from the Stevens Online MBA curriculum.
For most learners, the recommended path begins with core MBA areas: business foundations, leadership and management, and AI-informed decision-making. These courses give students a balanced introduction to graduate business study before deciding whether to continue into the full MBA.
Students with strong prior business, finance, or management backgrounds may speak with an advisor to design a different three-course path from eligible MBA coursework. Learners who earn a B or better in each certificate course and meet applicable GPA expectations can use that performance to support MBA express admission or continuation review.
